Update on premium holiday for Royal Canadian Mounted Police Group Life Insurance Plans
The premium holiday period for plan members participating in the Group Life Insurance Plans has been extended until March 31, 2024. On April 1, 2024 the premium holiday period will end for the Basic Life plan and the monthly premium rate will be reinstated at a reduced rate. Important information about the Public Service Healthcare Plan
As of January 1, 2024, the Public Service Healthcare Plan (PSHCP) covers 80% of the lowest-cost generic drug when a generic is available, unless you have received an exception from Canada Life. To request an exception, discuss with your health care provider and have them fill in the appropriate form. The new emergency travel services provider is MSH International. If you wish to submit an appeal related to coverage or for a denied claim, you can find more information at the Federal Public Service Healthcare Plan Administration Authority.

2024 Pension Benefits Statements for Retired Members
The 2024 Pension Benefits Statements for retired members will be mailed on February 9, 2024. A hard copy statement will be mailed to your primary address.

Newly signed pension transfer agreement with First Nations Public Security Pension Plan
The RCMP and the First Nations Public Security Pension Plan Committee recently finalized a Pension Transfer Agreement. This allows members to transfer pension credits between plans. Check out the Pension Transfer Agreements Package for more information.
